A survey was conducted on the topic of internet addiction among children and adolescents

On February 24, 2026, an anonymous survey on the topic “Internet Addiction among Children and Adolescents” was conducted among 8th–9th–10th–11th grade students at Secondary School No. 43 in Shymkent. The event was organized by the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Department of General Practice–2. The event was held under the supervision of Kuanysheva Baktygul Abildaevna with the participation of group 612-25. During the survey, students’ level of internet usage, leisure time organization, and issues related to the prevention of internet addiction were studied. The purpose of the event was to prevent internet addiction among adolescents, improve digital literacy, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
