
A senior lecturer of the Department of “History of Kazakhstan and Social and Public Disciplines,” A.A. Myrzaziya, conducted an educational and psychological training session on the topic “Prevention of Ludomania” with second-year students of the Medicine educational program.
The main purpose of the event was to prevent gambling addiction among students, promote a healthy lifestyle, and enhance the psychological resilience of young people. During the training, the negative impact of ludomania on society, human health, and social well-being was thoroughly explained.
Senior lecturer A.A. Myrzaziya provided students with comprehensive information about the causes of gambling addiction, as well as its psychological and social consequences. In addition, a discussion was organized on the harmful effects of online gaming and букмекерлік platforms, which are becoming increasingly widespread among young people.
During the training, students completed various situational tasks and participated in group discussions. The participants shared their opinions and proposed ways to prevent harmful habits. The event was held in an interactive format and was marked by the active participation of students.
At the end of the meeting, students were advised that effective time management, participation in sports, reading books, and building a positive social environment can help prevent ludomania. The importance of seeking psychological support when needed was also emphasized.
This event was aimed at improving students’ legal and social awareness and strengthening their sense of responsibility toward society.
