“Academic Integrity – the Foundation of Quality Education and a Just Society”

On October 28, 2026, the Department of Microbiology, Allergology and Immunology of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC organized a round table entitled “Academic Integrity – the Foundation of Quality Education and a Just Society.”
During the event, Ratbek Sailaubekuly, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Acting Associate Professor, as well as students Aiymzhan Kumarova and Aruzhan Tole, delivered presentations addressing academic integrity, student responsibility, and the appropriate use of artificial intelligence. Participants discussed case-based scenarios and exchanged views.
In the concluding session, Compliance Officer Nurgali Pernebayev, Head of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Bibigul Seitkhanova, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Meruert Duissenbayeva delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of academic integrity.
At the end of the event, certificates were awarded to the student speakers.
