As part of the academic mobility program at the University of Health Sciences, Istanbul, Turkey (Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi, İstanbul, Turkey), from November 24 to December 26, 2025, three 4th-year students of SKMA, group MAA-11-22, studying under the “Medicine” educational program, are undertaking training in the disciplines Internal Medicine and Traumatology.
The academy’s students are undergoing clinical training at the Haseki Sultangazi Training and Research Hospital, in the departments of Therapy (Internal Medicine) and Orthopedics.
The training is organized in a way that immerses students in a full clinical workflow and provides opportunities to develop practical skills within a multidisciplinary medical team.
Students take part in morning clinical conferences, where complex clinical cases are reviewed, diagnostic and treatment results are analyzed, patient management plans are discussed, and common clinical errors and approaches to correcting them are examined.
The internship at Haseki Sultangazi Hospital allows students to gain real clinical experience, become familiar with the functioning of an international healthcare system, expand their professional competencies, and learn to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
We express our sincere gratitude to the academy’s administration for their support, trust, and the invaluable opportunity to complete this clinical internship at an international medical institution.
