
A long-standing and mutually beneficial international scientific and educational collaboration has been established between the Department of Infectious Diseases of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and the Department of Epidemiology, Dermatovenereology and Pediatric Dermatovenereology of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, as well as the Bukhara Branch of the Republican Specialized Center for Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases. Within the framework of the academic mobility program, faculty members and trainees regularly exchange professional experience. In addition, a joint postgraduate educational program has been developed, and collaborative scientific publications have been produced. From June 24 to 26, 2026, Professor Mehriniso Rizoevna Mirzoeva, MD, DSc, delivered lectures and conducted seminars on the topic "Parasitic Infections in Adults and Children" for residents specializing in Adult and Pediatric Infectious Diseases and for young faculty members at the clinical base of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. Professor Mirzoeva also participated in multidisciplinary clinical consultations for patients in the 5th and 6th Diagnostic Departments of the Shymkent City Infectious Diseases Hospital, actively contributed to scientific discussions during thematic sessions, and delivered an oral presentation entitled "Parasitic Infections: Global Epidemiology, Diagnostic Strategies, and Prevention in Modern Medicine" at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Infectious Diseases of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia."
