
From March 16 to 21, 2026, the Department of Infectious Diseases of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy hosted a visit by Smail Yerbol Muslimovich (Semey Medical University) within the framework of academic mobility.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange modern educational and clinical approaches in training infectious disease specialists at the internship and residency levels.
During the visit, lectures, practical sessions, and clinical case discussions were conducted, focusing on актуal issues of diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases from an evidence-based perspective.
Special attention was given to enhancing clinical reasoning skills of trainees and integrating modern educational technologies into the learning process.
The visit contributed to strengthening professional ties between departments and promoting the exchange of advanced experience in infectious diseases.
As a result, agreements were reached on further cooperation and the development of academic mobility between the institutions.
