Academic visit to Istanbul: new horizons of cooperation

From July 28 to August 11, 2025, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of «Social Health Insurance and Public Health» of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Gulzat Sarsenbayeva participated in the academic mobility program at one of the leading universities in Türkiye - Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine.
During the visit, she participated in scientific discussions with Turkish colleagues, exchanged experiences on preventive medicine and healthcare organization, and also got acquainted with the educational and research opportunities of the university.
Following the results of the cooperation, the leadership of the Department of Public Health of Istanbul University sent an official letter of thanks to the Rector of JSC «South Kazakhstan Medical Academy», which noted Gulzat Sarsenbayeva's participation and her contribution to the development of international scientific cooperation.
This visit was an important step in strengthening ties between «SKMA» JSC and Istanbul University, opening up new prospects for joint projects, scientific research and improvement of medical education.
