“Addiction – the disease of the century.”

On December 11, 2025, the assistant of the “JTD-3” Department, G.Sh. Baimakova, together with the intern doctors of the IJTDQ 10-25 group, organized an educational and preventive event for the 9th–10th grade students of «A. Askarov School-Lyceum No. 77» on the topic:
“Addiction – the disease of the century.”
The main purpose of the event:
To show the harmful effects of addiction among youth and society, promote a healthy lifestyle, and empower individuals to take control of their own lives.
During the event, the following issues were discussed:
- The main types and causes of addictions
- Their impact on personal and public life, as well as on family and friends
- Brief recommendations were provided: doing sports, spending time in nature, finding a hobby, and spending quality time with friends
The event was successfully held in an educational and preventive format with 9th–10th grade students.
