Recently, the Shymkent City Language Teaching and Methodological Center organized a competition titled “Masters of Artistic Reading.” The aim of the competition was to expand the use of the state language, improve speech culture, promote literary works, discover talented youth among the public, and increase their interest in the art of expressive reading.
The competition, which is distinguished each year by its unique features, was dedicated this year to the 95th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev and the 90th anniversary of the writer Sayin Muratbekov, who made an invaluable contribution to Kazakh literature.
