An Educational Hour Dedicated to Republic Day Was Held

In celebration of October 25 – Republic Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a thematic educational hour involving international students was held at the Department of Pediatrics-1 of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The event was organized and conducted by B.S. Baltabayeva and A.E. Absadyk, teaching assistants of the Department of Pediatrics-1, together with international students from groups ВМ-МША -07-24 and ВМ-МШБ-07-24. The main purpose of the educational hour was to introduce international students to the history of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the stages of the formation of Kazakh statehood, and the historical significance of Republic Day, while also increasing their interest in the country's national values and cultural heritage. During the event, the participants received informative materials about the historical milestones in Kazakhstan's path toward sovereignty, its state symbols, national traditions, and cultural characteristics. Particular attention was paid to Kazakhstan's historical journey toward independence and the importance of national unity and social harmony. As part of the event, a special thematic presentation dedicated to Republic Day was prepared and delivered. Through visual materials, international students had the opportunity to learn more about the history of Kazakhstan, the development of its statehood, national culture, and the country's achievements. The presentation helped broaden the students' knowledge and enhance their interest in the history of Kazakhstan. During the educational hour, international students became acquainted with Kazakhstan's national values and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of respecting the country's culture and traditions.
