In anticipation of Republic Day, celebrated on October 25, the faculty members of the Department of Drug Technology and Organization of Pharmacy Practice at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, together with fifth-year students of the 6B10106 Pharmacy educational programme mentored by the Department, visited the Shymkent City Museum of History and Local Lore.
During the educational tour, the participants explored the rich history of the region, its cultural heritage, and valuable archaeological artefacts. The museum exhibitions provided meaningful insights into the history of their native land and broadened the students’ historical knowledge. Each exhibit offered a deeper understanding of the traditional way of life and spiritual values of the Kazakh people. Organised jointly with B. S. Baimbetova, Chief Specialist for Social Affairs of the Youth Policy Department at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, the event strengthened the students’ respect for the nation’s cultural heritage and left them with lasting impressions. Such cultural and educational activities play an important role in bringing education and personal development together.
