An environmental cleanup was held as part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” program

Within the framework of the state program “Taza Kazakhstan,” on April 2, 2026, under the guidance of mentors from the Department of “Drug Technology and Pharmacognosy” of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Nurbaeva S.E., Imanalieva S.M., and Shoinbayeva G.B., 4th-year students of the Educational Program “Pharmacy” from groups FQA-01-22, FQB-01-22, and FO-02-22 organized a clean-up event at the Shymkent State Dendrological Park named after Asanbay Askarov.
The Shymkent State Dendrological Park named after Asanbay Askarov is one of the most picturesque and ecologically significant green areas of the city and is also a highly visited public space. Clean-up activities held here make a significant contribution to preserving the urban ecosystem and strengthening environmental responsibility among the population.
The main goal of the event was to enhance students’ environmental culture, foster responsibility for the environment, and contribute to the improvement of the city’s green areas. In addition, such initiatives help develop teamwork skills among young people and increase their social engagement.
During the clean-up, students cleared litter from the park area, tidied the tree basins, and took part in caring for green plantations. Participants emphasized that nature conservation is a shared responsibility of every citizen and highlighted the importance of regularly organizing such environmental campaigns.
In the future, the staff and students of JSC «SKMA» plan to continue actively participating in social and environmental initiatives and contribute to the beautification of the city.
