An event dedicated to the presentation of the Head of State’s work “Towards a Just Society – A Sincere Word” was held

Today, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy hosted an event dedicated to the presentation of the meaningful work of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, entitled “Towards a Just Society – A Sincere Word.”

The event was attended by the Rector of the Academy Zhanna Seitjanova, members of the teaching staff, and students. The event was moderated by Yerbol Salim, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs.

The meeting featured a broad discussion of the ideas and reflections presented in the book concerning the development and future of the country. In her speech, Rector Zhanna Serikzhanovna emphasized the importance of introducing young people to the 21 topics addressed in the book “Towards a Just Society – A Sincere Word” and fostering shared values and a strong sense of civic responsibility in society. She also highlighted the significance of the concepts of “Adal Azamat” (“Honest Citizen”) and “Tolyk Adam” (“Whole Person”) in the education and upbringing of the younger generation.

Zhanat Nurzhanbayeva, Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences and PhD, Raushan Darbicheva, Head of the Library and Information Center, and Nurshat Chapay, Head of the Student Records Department, delivered presentations. They noted that, alongside pressing issues related to the country’s socio-political and socio-economic development, the work also addresses important initiatives aimed at the future of the state.

In his speech, Yerbol Kaltursynuly focused on the particular importance of education and science issues raised in the book for contemporary society. He also emphasized that the ideas concerning statehood, honesty, respect for the law, education, work, unity, and culture are closely aligned with the Academy’s day-to-day activities.

Nurshat Chapay, in turn, focused on the meaning of the word “sincere” in the title of the work, noting that the value of the book lies in its open and candid discussion of issues of importance to society.

During the event, students also shared their views and highlighted the relevance of the ideas presented in the book, particularly those related to building an educated nation, honest work, service to the country, promoting national values, and strengthening civic responsibility.
