An Event on the Theme “Law and Order” Took Place

Today, at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, a meaningful meeting was held as part of the implementation of the priority directions outlined in the “Law and Order” concept. The main goal of the event was to enhance students’ legal literacy, prevent corruption, and strengthen the principles of discipline and academic integrity within the institution. The meeting was attended by the academy’s compliance officer Nurgali Alikhanuly Pernebayev, head of the Youth Policy Department Berik Rakhmanaliuly Taszhanov, specialist in aesthetic and social affairs of the same department Daurenbek Zhanibekuly Zhienbek, as well as first-year students. During the event, Mr. Nurgali Alikhanuly provided a detailed explanation about building an anti-corruption culture, preventing legal violations, and protecting oneself from fraudulent activities. Using concrete examples, he warned students about the circumstances under which they could be expelled from the academy. He also emphasized the importance of knowing one’s rights and responsibilities. Next, Mr. Berik Rakhmanaliuly spoke about the directions of educational work and youth policy at the academy. He encouraged students to take an active part in academy life and join various student organizations and clubs. He mentioned that 12 student organizations are currently operating at the academy, helping young people develop leadership skills, enhance civic engagement, and spend their free time productively. He also stressed the importance of academic integrity, noting that every student should achieve success through their own effort. During the meeting, Mr. Daurenbek Zhanibekuly provided detailed information about the GPA platform for students. He explained its role in evaluating student participation in community activities and demonstrated how to upload data about events and scientific publications to the system. This innovative platform records students’ achievements electronically and helps them build their personal portfolios. Afterwards, the academy’s student rector, Askar Merey Elamankyzy, spoke about the activities and contributions of the 12 student organizations in promoting youth development, as well as organizing cultural and sports events. At the end of the meeting, participants asked questions and exchanged opinions. The event was held at a high level and served as an important platform to enhance students’ legal awareness, maintain academic honesty, and encourage active participation in public life.
