"An Honest Citizen – An Honest Society"

April 9, 2026, an meeting on the topic "An Honest Citizen – An Honest Society" was held at the City Universal Scientific Library named after Al-Farabi. The event was attended by students enrolled in the educational program "Pharmaceutical Production Technologies" groups ФӨТҚАБ-01-25, ФӨТОАБ-04-25, as well as group curators – teachers of the Department of Medical Biophysics and Information Technologies. The guests of the event were:
1. Mаymаkov А. - senior lecturer of the Cycle of Special Disciplines, Police Colonel of the B. Momyshuly Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Meiyrkulova G. - associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Legal Sciences of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
3. Alzhanov O. - lawyer of the Chamber of Legal Consultants of the city of Shymkent, employee of the law firm BM LAW group.
During the meeting, the speakers elaborated on the negative impact of corruption on societal development, emphasizing the crucial role of every citizen in its prevention. The importance of adhering to principles of honesty, complying with legal requirements, and issues of societal responsibility were also discussed. The academy's students shared their thoughts and actively participated in the discussion. The meeting continued in a question-and-answer format, where participants received comprehensive answers to their questions. At the conclusion of the event, the organizers urged the youth to actively combat corruption and to make honesty and reasonableness their way of life.
