An intellectual competition titled “SCIENCE BATTLE” was held

Science Week dedicated to Science Day was successfully held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy at a high level. As part of the event, an intellectual competition titled “SCIENCE BATTLE” took place.
The main goal of the competition was to promote scientific culture, encourage teamwork between faculty members and students, and popularize science in an engaging and accessible way.
A total of 7 teams, consisting of faculty members and students, participated in the competition.
The contest program included several stages. In the first stage, participants creatively presented the scientific achievements of their departments through performances or video presentations. This was followed by an интеллектуалдық round on the Kahoot platform, requiring quick thinking and responsiveness. The next stage featured the “Own Game” quiz, modeled after a television game show, where participants’ knowledge and logical thinking were tested. The final and decisive stage was the leaders’ competition, where team captains competed against each other.
Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated their knowledge, ingenuity, creative thinking, and strong interest in science. The event significantly contributed to promoting science, strengthening academic collaboration, and increasing students’ motivation for scientific research.
According to the results of the competition, the winners were:
1st place – SMART TEAM
2nd place – Invictus
3rd place – Scientist
In addition, winners were announced in the following nominations:
* “Best Scientific Performance” – for the most engaging and impressive presentation;
* “Most Knowledgeable Team” – for outstanding performance in the quiz;
* “Outstanding Leader” – for exceptional leadership skills in the final round;
* “Audience Choice” – awarded to the team that won the audience’s support with creativity and ingenuity.
The winners and prizeholders were awarded diplomas, certificates, and valuable prizes.
