"Anti-corruption culture"

On September 30,2026, an anti-corruption event was held at the Department of Pediatrics-2 under the guidance of the head of the Department, Professor Bektenova Gulmira Erseitovna and organized by the assistant of the Department Abdieva a.m.
Purpose: to form an anti-corruption attitude of students, strengthen the principles of honesty and justice, as well as explain the importance of professional ethics and responsibility of a medical specialist.
During the meeting, the teaching staff of the department conducted explanatory work for students, told about possible corruption risks in the field of medical services, and discussed ways to prevent them. Future doctors were offered examples based on real life situations, and an exchange of views was organized on each case. The participants shared their thoughts and discussed the negative impact of corruption on society and the health sector.
Head of the Department, Professor Bektenova G. E. concluded that such meetings contribute to the adherence of young professionals to the principles of honesty, fairness, transparency, responsibility and professional ethics.
Honesty is the basis of quality medicine!
