Career prospects in military medicine

On February 03, 2026, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC hosted a meeting of graduates with representatives of the Military Medicine Department of the Border Guard Service Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Turkestan region. The meeting was attended by employees of the Department of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Turkestan region: senior officer (epidemiologist) of the Department of Military Medicine, Captain Zhandarbekov Askhat Beisenkhanuly; head of the medical support department, Major Abdikalikov Nurlybek Zhailauovich; officer of the Department of Military Medicine Kanapiya Sanzhar; senior lecturer of the military department of the SKMA, lieutenant Colonel of the reserve medical service Isakulov Nurbol Rahmanberdievich, head of the career Department Yunusmetov Eldor Shavkatovich, teaching staff of the military Department, staff of the Department of Youth Policy and the dean's office of the Medical faculty.

During the event, participants were provided with information about the specifics of service in the military medicine system, conditions of service, requirements for candidates, social guarantees, as well as opportunities for professional and career growth. Special attention was paid to the issues of employment of graduates of medical specialties and the prospects of working in the structures of the Border Guard Service. During the open dialogue, graduates received answers to relevant questions related to the selection procedure, medical and professional criteria, as well as the stages of admission to the service. Holding such meetings helps strengthen cooperation between educational organizations and government agencies, as well as expands employment opportunities for young professionals.

SKMA JSC continues to work systematically to develop partnerships with employers and create effective conditions for the professional realization of its graduates.
