Checkers Selection Tournament

On October 9, 2025, a checkers tournament was held at the Center for Physical Education with the purpose of selecting players for the academy’s sports team.
Checkers is one of the intellectual sports that develops thinking, logical and analytical reasoning, as well as fine motor skills. Despite its simple rules, winning in checkers requires a high level of concentration, quick thinking, and the ability to make optimal decisions.
The main goal of the tournament was to promote the game of checkers among students, increase their interest in sports, and identify talented youth.
A total of 28 students participated in the qualifying tournament, demonstrating agility, quick decision-making skills, and sharp thinking. As a result, the most skilled, focused, and fast players were selected, and we believe they will proudly represent the academy at the upcoming city Spartakiad.
