City Competition “The State Language – A Symbol of Independence”

On June 12, 2026, the Shymkent City Language Teaching and Methodological Center organized the city competition “The State Language – A Symbol of Independence” among representatives of various ethnic groups who are proficient in the state language. The event aimed to expand the scope of the state language, strengthen the role of the Kazakh language as a means of interethnic communication, and promote national values.
Representing the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, first-year students of the Faculty of Medicine, group V-PO-03-25, Davranova Zilola Khayrullakyzy and Akhmedova Aida Iskenderovna, participated in the competition. The participants were supervised and mentored by D. Zh. Kemelkhan.

The competition consisted of two stages:
1. Best Digital Content – participants presented audiovisual projects developed using artificial intelligence tools;
2. Effective Methods of Teaching the Kazakh Language – participants shared their experience and demonstrated innovative and effective approaches to language instruction.
According to the results of the highly competitive contest, Davranova Zilola Khayrullakyzy was awarded Third Place. Akhmedova Aida Iskenderovna received a Certificate of Appreciation and valuable prizes for her participation.
