Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Herbal Medicines: Domestic Raw Materials – Domestic Product”

On May 15, 2026, the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmacognosy of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy organized and held an international scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students entitled “Herbal Medicines: Domestic Raw Materials – Domestic Product”.
The main purpose of the conference was to create an international scientific and practical platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the development, research, and implementation of herbal medicines based on domestic plant raw materials.
Representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia took part in the conference. In the online format, presentations were delivered by representatives of Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa), Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute (Pyatigorsk), Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Tashkent), as well as Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (Almaty).
Students and master’s degree students of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy also presented scientific reports on current issues in phytotherapy, pharmacognosy, and pharmaceutical technology.
Following the conference, all participants were awarded certificates. Authors of the best scientific presentations were awarded diplomas of the I, II, and III degrees. The organizing committee expresses its gratitude to all participants for the high quality of the presented scientific works and their active contribution to the development of international scientific cooperation.
