Financial Literacy – the Foundation of a Safe Society
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his Address to the Nation, emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to the principle of “Law and Order” in society. Within this framework, the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been conducting systematic and comprehensive work to improve citizens’ financial literacy and prevent legal violations.
At the initiative of the Agency, from October 10 to 20, 2025, a special event — the Financial Security Dictation — was organized on the online platform https://amlacademy.kz/finiq , aimed at developing financial safety skills.
The faculty, staff, and students of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy actively participated in this large-scale national event, demonstrating high civic responsibility and interest. As a result, the academy took 1st place among 9 universities in Shymkent in terms of participation activity.
The academy’s team and students will continue to take an active part in such important initiatives aimed at fostering legal culture and ensuring financial security.
