“Constitutional Changes: Sustainable Development and the Rule of Law”

An important meeting on the topic “Constitutional Changes: Sustainable Development and the Rule of Law” was held at the Shymkent City Youth Resource Center. Students of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy also took part in the event and received detailed information about the political and legal reforms being implemented in the country. The purpose of the meeting was to explain the impact of constitutional reforms on social development and to improve the legal awareness of young people. During the event, participants particularly emphasized the role of ongoing reforms in protecting citizens’ rights and freedoms. The meeting was attended by the representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the city of Shymkent, Nurzhan Alibekuly Abdezov; Master of Political Science and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Political Science at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Zhandos Abutalipuly Sarsenbekov; and member of the Shymkent City Legal Chamber, Guzal Rustamzhanovna Abdurakhmanova. In their presentations, the speakers shared their views on ensuring the rule of law, developing civil society institutions, and the impact of constitutional changes on the future of the country. The importance of active youth participation in socio-political processes was also emphasized. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions and openly exchange opinions with experts.
