Cooperation between SKMA and the Health Department of Zhambyl Region is strengthening

A special delegation from the Health Department of Zhambyl Region visited the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA). The delegation included the head of the department, Sershan Sarsenbekuly Nazarbek.
The delegation members first became acquainted with the daily activities of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The guests visited the museum reflecting the history of the institution and gained insight into the academy’s achievements and development stages over the years.
In addition, the delegation toured the academic buildings and laboratory facilities. They were introduced to the conditions provided for students and highly appreciated the opportunities of the modern classrooms and laboratories equipped with advanced technologies.
During the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening mutual cooperation in areas such as professional education and experience exchange, development of academic mobility programs, and implementation of joint research projects. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Municipal State Institution “Health Department of the Akimat of Zhambyl Region” and JSC “SKMA”.
This meeting marks an important step toward future large-scale projects and shared achievements.
