Discussion of the Draft New Constitution

Today, a meeting dedicated to discussing the draft of the new Constitution of our country was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The event was attended by Deputy Akim of Shymkent city, Sarsen Kuranbek. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the institution, Maria Anartayeva Ulasbekkyzy, and was organized to thoroughly discuss the content of the draft Constitution and to explain its impact on the development of society and the country. During the meeting, Deputy Akim of Shymkent city Sarsen Abayuly emphasized that the draft of the new Constitution is an important historical document aimed at the country’s development and the formation of a fair and open society. He compared the draft law with the current Constitution, highlighted a number of proposed changes, and explained their significance. In addition, speeches were delivered by Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan Sakhov Saparbek Musakhanuly, Dean of the Internship Faculty, PhD, Associate Professor Kemelbekov Kanatzhan Saukhanbekuly, and the student rector of the institution, Askar Merey Elamankyzy. They noted that the draft of the new Constitution is a significant step that will serve the interests of future generations. 

At the end of the meeting, Maria Ulasbekkyzy delivered the concluding remarks, emphasizing that the development of education and science is clearly defined in the new draft law as a strategic priority of the state. She also noted that these changes will further enhance the contribution of higher education institutions to the country’s development.
