
Second-year PhD student in Medicine, Dilafruz Bolatova, completed a scientific internship at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University (Kazan, Russian Federation), which holds the 401st place in the world according to the QS World University Rankings.
The internship plan was prepared together with her domestic scientific supervisor — K.S. Kemelbekov, PhD, Head of the Department of “Pediatrics-1”, and approved by E.R. Zakirova, Head of the Center for Practice, Accreditation and Continuing Education of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology at KFU, which ensured the successful implementation of the program.
During her stay in Kazan, Bolatova examined patients in the departments of pediatric cardiology, pediatrics, and ultrasound diagnostics, collected practical research material, and discussed her dissertation project with her international scientific advisor — Dr. L.F. Galimova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Ultrasound Department, physician in functional diagnostics at the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital of the Republic of Tatarstan, and lecturer at the Department of “Clinical Diagnostics with a Course in Pediatrics”.
The scientific internship at one of the world’s leading universities provided an opportunity to deepen research knowledge, gain valuable practical experience, and establish professional contacts with international scholars. In addition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Academy and Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University (KFU) to implement future joint research and educational projects.
Upon completion of the program, Dilafruz Bolatova received a Certificate of Scientific Internship Completion.
