Dual training: practical training for pharmacy students at the BioEthica testing center

Fifth-year students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, group FO-04-21, completed dual training in the course "Standardization of Medicines."

The staff of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry developed a dual training program for this course, and students were given the opportunity to take the course at the BioEthica LLC Testing Center. This format allows for the combination of academic training with practical experience, which is especially important for future pharmaceutical industry specialists.

During the course, students thoroughly studied and reinforced their theoretical knowledge of quality control and standardization of various dosage forms, including:

·        tablets and capsules,

·        suppositories,

·        parenteral preparations (injectable solutions),

·        creams and soft dosage forms.

Additionally, special attention was paid to mastering analytical and quality control methods. Students reinforced their theoretical knowledge with practical skills, working with modern analytical equipment to:

·        determine the purity of medicines;

·        quantitative determination using physicochemical methods, such as spectral and chromatographic studies;

·        participation in the actual quality control process of various pharmaceutical products.

As a result, future pharmacists not only reinforced their theoretical foundation but also gained practical experience, which is essential for their professional development. This experience helps them gain a deeper understanding of the processes involved in drug production and standardization, and also fosters responsibility and attention to detail, which is crucial for future analytical pharmacists.

Saule Turegeldievna Sultanbekova head of the physical and chemical laboratory was responsible for organizing and conducting the course, providing methodological support to the students and creating the conditions for effective mastery of the program.

In conclusion, we would like to express my sincere gratitude to the BioEthica Testing Center for the warm welcome, the high-quality organization of the educational process, and the opportunity to gain valuable practical skills. The Center provided tremendous support in training in various modern analytical and quality control methods, which will undoubtedly contribute to the development of highly qualified pharmacists.
