Educational Hour on the Topic: “Gratitude — the Bridge of Friendship”

Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences, L.T. Makhatova, conducted an educational hour titled “Gratitude — the Bridge of Friendship” with first-year international students of the educational program “Medicine.”
The purpose of the event was to strengthen friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation among international students, to foster a culture of gratitude, and to promote harmony and unity in a multicultural environment.
During the meeting, the importance of the concept of gratitude in human life was discussed, and interesting perspectives on traditions of expressing gratitude in different countries were shared. The students expressed their thoughts, conveyed warm wishes, and emphasized the significance of friendship and mutual understanding. In addition, educational and creative tasks were organized, in which the participants demonstrated active involvement and interest.
The event had a positive impact on the adaptation of international students to their new social environment and contributed to strengthening the values of interethnic harmony and unity.
At the end of the meeting, special attention was paid to the importance of such concepts as friendship, unity, and respect. It was emphasized that educational events of this kind have a positive influence on students’ spiritual development and their successful adaptation to a new environment.
The educational hour “Gratitude — the Bridge of Friendship” became an important step toward strengthening harmony and cooperation in a multicultural student community.
