“Golden Horde Quiz Night” intellectual evening held

An intellectual evening titled “Golden Horde Quiz Night” was held for first-year students under the organization of Associate Professor (acting) M.U. Turadilov from the Department of “History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines.” The main purpose of the event was to provide a deeper understanding of the history of the Golden Horde, to promote its historical significance in the formation of Kazakh statehood, and to advance the “Golden Horde” brand in close connection with Kazakhstan.
During the intellectual evening, participants tested their knowledge on topics including the history of Kazakhstan, the Golden Horde era, socio-political development, cultural heritage, and historical figures. The quiz-based competition consisted of several rounds and was aimed at developing students’ logical thinking skills, quick decision-making abilities, and teamwork culture.

The participating students demonstrated high activity and answered interesting questions related to historical facts. In each round, they showed well-rounded preparation, creating a competitive and engaging atmosphere. In addition, meaningful discussions were held about the role of the Golden Horde in the Eurasian space and its contribution to the ethnic and cultural formation of the Kazakh people.
The organizer, M.U. Turadilov, noted that such intellectual events contribute to the formation of historical awareness among young people, promote national values, and increase students’ interest in the subject.
At the end of the event, active participants and winning teams were awarded certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts. The “Golden Horde Quiz Night” not only provided students with a positive atmosphere but also served as a meaningful and educational experience that broadened their historical knowledge.
