"Harassment: legal aspects and measures to prevent it"

On 22.04.2026, senior lecturer S.T.Abdrasilova, together with the teaching staff of the Department of "Social and Humanitarian disciplines" and students of groups BM-МКБ-04Б-05АБ, held a meaningful and relevant educational hour on

the topic "Harassment: legal aspects and measures to prevent it". During the educational hour, the essence of the concept of harassment, its types and manifestations were comprehensively discussed, and issues of legal liability in accordance with current legislation were considered.

Participants gained a deep understanding of the topic through concrete examples and were convinced of the importance of creating a culture of safe and respectful communication in the workplace and educational environment. In addition, effective methods and mechanisms for preventing harassment were presented, and the personal responsibility of each employee was emphasized. Harassment is a repeated or systematic occurrence of unpleasant, offensive or oppressive behavior directed at someone. It can harm a person's dignity, psychological well-being or safety.

In conclusion, this open lesson not only increased the legal literacy of the department members, but also became an important step towards creating a healthy psychological climate in the team.
