On the occasion of March 8 — International Women’s Day, the staff of the Department of Family Medicine of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy organized a charitable event.
On behalf of the department, Kumisai Kuldyrakkyzy Atashova, a department assistant and a therapist-cardiologist of the highest category, together with medical interns from groups IJTDO 29-24 and ITK-03-25, personally visited home-front veterans to congratulate them.
The main goal of the event was to show deep respect to the home-front veterans — living legends whose numbers are gradually decreasing — and to foster in future doctors the values of respect for elders and compassion.
“Today there are very few home-front veterans left among us. Therefore, receiving the blessings of every elder and honoring their courage and hard work is a great honor and a sacred duty for us,” noted Kumisai Kuldyrakkyzy.
At the end of the meeting, the dedicated people in white coats presented bouquets of flowers and commemorative gifts to our dear mothers. In turn, the elders expressed their gratitude and gave their blessings to the young specialists.
