“Innovative Technologies in Perinatology, Pediatrics, Pediatric Surgery, and Maternal and Child Health Protection”
September 25–26, 2025, Turkestan city
On September 25–26, 2025, the II International Scientific and Educational Conference was held in Turkestan, organized by Kazakh-Russian Medical University, the International Academy of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery, and the Institute of Childhood.
The conference aimed to discuss modern scientific achievements and innovative technologies in perinatology, pediatrics, and pediatric surgery, to strengthen international scientific collaboration, and to exchange experiences in the field of maternal and child health protection.
A consensus session was also held, during which leading scientists and practicing physicians discussed current issues in modern pediatrics and reached a unified professional consensus.
Representing the Department of Pediatrics-2, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SCMA) were:
• Head of Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor, Dean of Residency – Bektенova Gulmira Erseitovna
• Department Assistant – Baltabaeva Kaliya Tasbauyevna
• Deputy Head of Department for Academic Affairs – Kamysbaeva Aigerim Kenesovna
At the conclusion of the conference, certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees.
The event significantly contributed to the professional development of the department staff, the expansion of scientific perspectives, and the strengthening of international cooperation.
