
Associate Professor (acting) of the Department “History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Political Disciplines” M.U. Turadilov held a round table with 2nd-year students of the “Medicine” educational program dedicated to the celebration of “June 4 – Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
The main purpose of the event was to increase students’ respect for state symbols, provide a deeper understanding of the historical and legal foundations of the state symbols, and foster patriotic awareness among the younger generation.

During the round table, the history of the adoption of the State Flag, State Emblem, and National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan was discussed in detail, along with their authors and symbolic meanings. M.U. Turadilov emphasized that each element of the state symbols represents an important value reflecting the country’s independence and national identity.
Students also actively participated in the discussion, sharing their opinions and asking questions about the role of state symbols in society and their importance in the patriotic education of youth. In addition, short reports and presentations were presented on the topic. At the end of the event, participants noted that respect for state symbols is a sacred duty of every citizen and emphasized the importance of such educational meetings. The round table was organized at a high level and contributed to increasing students’ cognitive interest as well as strengthening their patriotic feelings.
