Independence of Kazakhstan: history and significance

On December 10.12. 25. a solemn event " Independence of Kazakhstan: history and significance" was held with the participation of teachers of the Department of "History of Kazakhstan and Socio-social Disciplines" and 1st year students of the Faculty of Medicine.
Purpose: to explain to young people the essence and significance of the country's independence, to form a sense of patriotism, to increase national unity and responsibility among students.
During the event, students and teachers had the opportunity to express their opinions on the importance of independence, national unity, and an independent Kazakhstan that will delight future generations. These discussions will become a common platform for important reflections on the future of our country and the future of national unity. During the festive event, students read reports and sang songs on patriotic themes. "December 16 is Independence Day" is an important day in the history of Kazakhstan. On December 16, 1991, the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan declared the country's independence, and from that moment on, Kazakhstan entered a new era. Independence Day is a holiday symbolizing the freedom and sovereignty of the state, which is celebrated with great pride by every citizen of the country.
