Introduction of First-Year Students to the Main Documents of SKMA

In connection with the beginning of the new academic year, lecturers of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences, M.M. Malikov and A.B. Turmatova, conducted an information and educational event for first-year students.
The main purpose of the event was to facilitate the adaptation of newly admitted students to the educational environment of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA), enhance their legal awareness, and foster a sense of responsibility as members of the SKMA community.
During the event, students were introduced to the Charter of SKMA, the Internal Regulations, as well as the rules and requirements for living in and behaving in the student dormitory. Particular attention was paid to the fundamental principles of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the responsibility of students in the academic and social environment.
The importance of Knowledge Day was also highlighted during the meeting. The lecturers emphasized the responsibility associated with pursuing higher education, compliance with the Academy’s established rules and regulations, mutual respect, ethical conduct, and academic discipline.
As a result of the event, first-year students received essential information about the Academy’s key documents, rules, and requirements. They expanded their understanding of their rights and responsibilities and gained practical guidance for successful adaptation to the educational process and the academic environment of SKMA.
