Körisu Day was celebrated

Ceremonial events dedicated to the Nauryz celebration — the Great Day of the Nation — have begun at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The university staff and students gathered in front of the academy’s main building warmly welcomed guests from other higher educational institutions of the city in a festive atmosphere. Participants greeted each other, exchanged embraces and handshakes, shared kind wishes, and performed the traditional Körisu ceremony.
The spring celebration at the educational institution was organized with special festivity and continued with various cultural activities aimed at promoting national values. Traditional Kazakh dishes were presented, creating a joyful holiday atmosphere for students and guests. Young people dressed in national costumes performed traditional songs and kui music.
It is worth noting that the festive events at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy began with Körisu Day and will continue for the next ten days. During this period, national sports games, charity events, and educational activities introducing the traditions and history of the Kazakh people will be organized with the participation of students and faculty members.
