
Today, within the framework of the “Law and Order” concept, a meeting was held at the Youth Resource Center with international students studying at JSC “South Kazakhstan Medical Academy”. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Issues of the Academy, Salim Erbol Kaltursynuly, Dean of the International Faculty Altynai Alibekovna Sarsenbekova, Head of the External Migration Control Department of the Migration Service of the City Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Zhanybek Beketovich Myrzaliev, Prosecutor of the Enbekshi District Prosecutor’s Office Bektore Amangeldyuly Salkhudin, as well as the Head of the Migration Department of the Al-Farabi District, Yerzhan Saparbayev. The purpose of the meeting was to explain to international students studying at the academy the migration legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, their rights and obligations, as well as the internal regulations of the educational institution. During the meeting, Erbol Kaltursynuly noted that such events are regularly organized at the academy. Law enforcement officials, in turn, emphasized that in accordance with migration legislation, foreign students are required to be registered at their place of residence. That is, they are considered temporary or permanent residents at the specified address. In addition, the need for strict compliance with other requirements of migration legislation was also highlighted.
