Lecture on suicide prevention

On February 26, 2026, under the supervision of Dinara Sabyrzhanovna Narzullayeva, Assistant of the Department of Family Medicine, medical interns of group IZHTDQ 27-24 organized an educational and socially significant lecture for 10th–11th grade students of Secondary School No. 11 on the topic “Suicide Prevention” under the slogan “Awaken with Awareness!”
The main goal of the event was to strengthen adolescents’ psychological health, explain the value of life, emphasize the importance of seeking help in difficult situations, and prevent suicidal behavior.
Currently, factors such as psychological stress, bullying, family difficulties, and the influence of social media can lead to emotional instability among teenagers. In this regard, it is especially important to provide students with timely information, create a trusting environment, and offer support.

The lecture proved to be important and beneficial for the students. Adolescents gained a deeper understanding of the value of life, the importance of psychological health, and the need to overcome difficulties together. Students were also provided with information about helplines and the school psychologist’s working hours.
