During the lecture, key aspects of the transformation of the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan and global experience in the implementation of digital technologies were examined. Yelzhan Amantayevich paid special attention to the historical path of digitalization in Kazakhstan’s healthcare — from the first medical information systems to the modern interoperability platform.
The participants learned about international trends in eHealth, including telemedicine, mobile health (mHealth), and the integration of medical information systems. The possibilities of applying artificial intelligence to address current healthcare challenges were actively discussed, including the prevention of chronic diseases, which account for 80% of all treatment costs worldwide. The lecture generated strong interest among the audience and became an important step in preparing medical professionals ready to work in the conditions of digital transformation of the healthcare sector.
