Maintaining Public Order Is a Shared Responsibility

Today, a meeting was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle, aimed at preventing offenses among young people and increasing their sense of responsibility for maintaining public order. The event was jointly organized by the academy and the Municipal State Institution “Youth Resource Center” under the Shymkent City Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs. The meeting was attended by Askar Alimbekov, Prosecutor of the Al-Farabi District Prosecutor’s Office, and Akerke Raimbekova, Police Captain of the Al-Farabi District Police Department of the Shymkent City Police Department, Inspector of the Juvenile Police Unit. The speakers explained to young people the importance of maintaining order in public places and highlighted the most common types of offenses among minors and youth. Special attention was also paid to issues of safety in the online environment. At the end of the meeting, participants asked questions of concern and received clear and specific answers from the specialists. The organizers emphasized that such preventive and educational events will continue in the future.
