«March 22 – The Great Day of the Nation»

The holiday “March 22 – Nauryz, the Great Day of the Nation” is a national celebration symbolizing the arrival of spring, the balance of day and night, renewal, and creation. This holiday strengthens unity and harmony among our people and encourages kindness and compassion.
On this occasion, on March 20, 2026, the staff of the Department of Family Medicine, together with medical interns of the department, organized a festive event on the theme “The Great Day of the Nation – Nauryz.” The purpose of the event was to promote national values among young professionals, strengthen team unity, and combine professional activity with spiritual culture.

During the event, the history of the Nauryz holiday was discussed, and its educational significance was emphasized. It was noted that Nauryz is not only the renewal of nature but also the inner renewal of a person, the beginning of new goals and good deeds. This idea resonates with the essence of the medical profession, as a doctor’s main duty is to preserve human life, provide health, and be a source of hope and renewal.
The main dish of the celebration, Nauryz kozhe, was prepared and offered to the participants. This traditional dish, consisting of seven ingredients, symbolizes abundance and prosperity. In addition, traditional foods were served, and brief information about their health benefits was provided.
During the event, national games and performances reflecting traditional customs were organized. Interns staged scenes such as “Tusau kesu” and “Syrga salu,” and “Asyk atu,” demonstrating teamwork and agility. Such activities help strengthen team spirit and improve relationships among colleagues. Interns performed Kazakh folk songs and danced national dances. The sound of the dombra was heard, and patriotic songs were performed.
