Master Class “How to Open Your Own Pharmacy from Scratch!”
On September 8, 2026, the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Organization of Pharmaceutical Affairs held a master class entitled “How to Open Your Own Pharmacy from Scratch!” for fifth-year students of the FQAB 01-22 group enrolled in the Pharmacy educational program.
The master class was organized by M.M. Sapakbay, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor, and Zh.K. Shimirova, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor.
The master class was conducted by Aigerim Alikhanovna Yermanova, Head of the “Electopharma” pharmacy, entrepreneur and expert, and mentor in pharmacy establishment.
During the meeting, the main stages of opening a pharmacy were discussed, ranging from planning and organization of operations to practical aspects of pharmacy management. Particular attention was paid to the challenges that entrepreneurs may encounter when establishing and running a pharmacy business.
The students had an opportunity to ask the expert questions, discuss practical cases, and receive recommendations based on real-world experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
Such master classes contribute to the development of students’ practical competencies, broaden their understanding of contemporary areas of pharmaceutical practice, and foster their interest in entrepreneurship in the field of pharmacy.
