Meeting with Representatives of Regional Career Centers Held at SKMA


On April 24, 2026, a working meeting with representatives of regional labor mobility centers was held at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The event brought together heads and representatives of centers from North Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Ulytau regions, and the city of Shymkent, as well as the university leadership, faculty members, staff of the internship and residency dean’s offices, representatives of the Career Department, and graduates of internship and residency programs.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss employment opportunities for graduates, identify regional workforce needs, and strengthen cooperation in facilitating the adaptation of young specialists to the labor market.
The meeting was opened with a welcome speech by the Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs, Professor Bekaidar Kaldybaevich Nurmashev. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of developing effective cooperation with regional career centers and noted that supporting graduate employment is one of the key priorities of the university.
The following speakers delivered reports: Nurlan Toleuuly Bibulaev – Director of the Labor Mobility Center of North Kazakhstan Region, Arailym Kerimbekkyzy Yessimbekova – Director of the Labor Mobility Center of East Kazakhstan Region, Aidar Sayatuly Koishybaev – Director of the Labor Mobility Center of Ulytau Region, Bekzat Rakhmankululy Tolybaev – Deputy Director of the Labor Mobility Center of Shymkent. In their presentations, the speakers provided information on the current situation in regional labor markets, the demand for medical personnel, employment mechanisms, and government support measures for young professionals.

During the meeting, participants discussed key issues related to labor market conditions in the regions, workforce shortages, employment pathways, and support for young specialists.
The parties also discussed prospects for further cooperation, including improving information exchange and implementing joint initiatives aimed at enhancing graduate employment outcomes. As a result of the meeting, the importance of strengthening cooperation between the educational institution and regional career centers was emphasized, along with the need to implement comprehensive measures to ensure graduate employment and improve the quality of workforce training.
