Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and the Shymkent City Health Department

South Kazakhstan Medical Academy was visited on a working trip by Kairat Zhakypuly Kalybekov, Head of the Shymkent City Health Department; Inna Glazebnaya, Deputy Head of the Department; Aigul Kylyshbayeva, Chief Physician of City Polyclinic No. 6; and Galymzhan Motayuly Abishev, Director of the Higher Medical College. During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the academy’s activities. They toured the academy museum, modern educational facilities, the research center, and the library, and learned about the opportunities and resources available to students and faculty members. 

As part of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Shymkent City Health Department and South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The parties expressed their intention to implement joint projects in the fields of education, science, and healthcare, exchange professional experience, and strengthen cooperation in the training of qualified healthcare professionals.
