
On April 29, 2026, the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages organized and held a methodological seminar titled “Technologies for Teaching the State Language to Medical Students.”
The opening remarks were delivered by the Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Affairs of SKMA, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages, E.K. Salim. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of developing an effective model for using the state language in the medical field, modernizing the educational process with a professional focus, and improving the quality of language training.

The Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Acting Associate Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences G.K. Zhumagulova; Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh, Russian, and Latin Languages, Candidate of Philological Sciences G.K. Temirbekova; as well as senior lecturers A.T. Abdullabekova, K.B. Shadiyeva, A.S. Zhakipova, D.Zh. Kemelkhan, and senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages D.N. Abiyeva delivered presentations and shared their professional experience.
During the seminar, the prerequisites for the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies were discussed, and effective models for teaching the state language were proposed, integrating the experience of teaching Russian and English. The communicative function of language games was also highly valued as an effective practical tool.
Certificates were awarded to active participants of the seminar.
