Organized by the assistants of the Department of Pediatrics-1, Botakoz Serikkyzy and Ainur Turdalievna, students of groups VM-MQB-05-23 and VM-MQA-05-23 held a meaningful and engaging event dedicated to Nauryz – the Great Day of the Nation.
The main purpose of the event was to promote the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and customs of the Kazakh people, as well as to foster respect for national values among the younger generation. The students approached the organization of the celebration with great enthusiasm and successfully conveyed the spirit of national culture through each performance.
As part of the festive program, one of the ancient Kazakh traditions, the “Tusau Kesu” ceremony, was staged, highlighting its deep educational and cultural significance. This performance symbolized blessing a child for a bright future and expressing good wishes for their life journey.
In addition, national games were widely promoted during the event. In particular, competitions such as “Asyk Atu” and arm wrestling were organized, where participants demonstrated their agility, strength, and endurance. These activities not only increased students’ interest but also encouraged a healthy lifestyle.

During the celebration, the performances of students dressed in traditional costumes attracted special attention. Beautiful songs were performed, and the event became a vivid example of the harmonious combination of national traditions and modern perspectives.

Such meaningful events contribute to the formation of national identity among young people, strengthen respect for ancestral heritage, and promote patriotic values. Nauryz is not only the arrival of spring but also a symbol of renewal, unity, prosperity, and harmony.
