New data in the pharmaceutical industry – new learning outcomes

On February 11, 2026, the faculty of the Department of Drug Technology and Pharmacognosy of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy listened to a lecture by Dr. Thomas Notegger, head of the Polpharma Group's production activities, on the topic "AI in pharmaceutical production", which was held with the support of SKMA's partner and employer, the pharmaceutical company Khimpharm JSC -Santo. During the lecture, the teaching staff and students of the Department of Drug Technology and Pharmacognosy, one of the main subjects of which is "Industrial Technology of Medicines", received new information that will be used in mastering this discipline, participated with interest in this event and received answers to their questions. The members of the department were awarded the certificate of the head of the largest manufacturing enterprise in our region, Polpharma, Dr. Thomas Notegger.
