
On September 8, 2025, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered a traditional message to the people of Kazakhstan. This important document "Kazakhstan in the era of artificial intelligence: current problems and their solution through radical digital changes" defines new directions of the country's development and urgent tasks in the field of medicine. During his speech at the teachers' conference, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to promptly introduce digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the educational process. In order to support the message, the head of the Department of "History of Kazakhstan and Socio-public Disciplines", PhD Nurzhanbayeva Zhanat Oralbaikyzy, Head of the Department of "Socio-humanitarian Disciplines", PhD Ashirov Shadiyar Aldiyaruly and 1st year graduate student of the specialty "Nursing" Omirtai Gulnur gave their interviews and shared their opinions to the local Hantv TV channel. During the interview, they noted that the initiatives outlined in the Message would give a huge boost to improving the healthcare system and improving the quality of medical education. In addition, the head of state emphasized that the proposed social initiatives are aimed, in particular, at developing science and medicine, supporting young professionals and improving the quality of human capital. Currently, the country needs qualified doctors and scientific staff. In this sense, the modernization of the medical education system – the expansion of professional training and support measures for future specialists - will contribute to improving the efficiency and accessibility of the domestic healthcare system. In his Message, the Head of State highlighted the development of the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Our educational institution also contributes to the realization of this task. In particular, active work is underway to improve the quality of training for medical and pharmaceutical specialists, enhance research and develop the human and scientific base necessary for the domestic production of medicines. It is also encouraging that the President's Message pays special attention to the development of science. Supporting scientific research, providing grant opportunities to young scientists, and developing scientific and innovation infrastructure are all important steps that enhance our country's competitiveness. In this area, SKMA pays priority attention to stimulating scientific research among young people and the broad involvement of students in research work. In conclusion, the SKMA staff and students expressed their willingness to contribute to its implementation, fully supporting this message, which opens the way to a new stage in the country's development.
