Olympiad “Qazaq Tilining Bilimpazy” (Expert of the Kazakh Language)

On June 11, 2026, the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin Languages organized and conducted the Olympiad “Qazaq Tilining Bilimpazy” (Expert of the Kazakh Language) among international students with the aim of enhancing their interest in learning the Kazakh language.
First-year students took part in the Olympiad. The opening remarks were delivered by Y.K. Salim, Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Affairs of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. In his speech, he wished the international students success in mastering the state language, applying their knowledge in practice, and demonstrating respect for the national traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.

The participants’ performance was evaluated by a distinguished jury consisting of Zhansaya Mukhatarkyzy Zhaksybekova, a representative of the Shymkent City Educational and Methodological Center for Language Teaching; Meruert Meirambekkyzy Duisenbayeva, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of SKMA; and Zhanar Tasmuratkyzy Daumenova, Leading Specialist of the Youth Policy Department.

According to the jury’s decision, the winners were determined as follows:
First Place
Team “Til Qazynasy”:
Anisha Bhatnagar, Satya Prakash Singh, and Saurav Kumar Suman.
Second Place
Team “Myqty Darigerler” (Strong Doctors):
Mahi Tyagi, Kritika, and Farhan Syed Mohammad.
Third Place
Team “Bolashaq Darigerler” (Future Doctors):
Arbaz, Sahil Khan, and Fiza Khan.
Team “Juldyzdar” (Stars):
Ali Aamir, Shaima Ameen, and Deep Kasaudhan Vansh.
The winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas. The teams “Tatu Ūjym” and “Jas Qyran”, recognized for their active participation in the competition, received certificates of appreciation. In addition, all participants were presented with incentive prizes on behalf of the Department.
