On the implementation of academic mobility at the department of organization and management of pharmaceutical business

Within the framework of the academic mobility program, students from Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev have arrived at the Department of Organization and Management of Pharmaceutical Business of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
The students are undergoing industrial (practical) training in the discipline “Management and Economics of Pharmacy” from March 16 to March 27, 2026.
Practical training is organized at the leading pharmaceutical organizations of the city, including:
• Medservice Plus
• Zerde-Pharma
As part of the program, students study the organization of pharmaceutical activities, economics and planning in pharmacy, management systems of pharmacy organizations, logistics of medicines, and the operational specifics of pharmaceutical warehouses and pharmacies.
The internship is supervised by experienced specialists from the practice bases as well as academic staff from both universities. From the host side, coordination and supervision are carried out by the Department of Organization and Management of Pharmaceutical Business under the leadership of the Head of the Department, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.K. Shimirova.
Academic mobility contributes to the exchange of experience, strengthening of international cooperation, and improvement of the quality of training of future specialists in the pharmaceutical sector.
